Automobile Service Supervisor
Udyog Seba Automobile Service Supervisors are responsible for overseeing the repair and maintenance of automobiles in a service center. Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:
- Managing a team of service technicians and coordinating their daily activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Managing workforce | Improve Productivity | Improve Efficiency | Building Capability .
- Ensure First Time Right Repairs .
- Reviewing service reports and monitoring technician performance to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure final inspections to conform customer stated and hidden repair needs are fulfilled .
- Seamless cordination with front office on conformance to time , repair & cost commitments to end customers .
- Collaborating with spares , sales , front office to develop and implement strategies for growing the service business and increasing customer retention.
The ideal candidate for this role should have:
- A ITI , Diploma or Bachelors degree in egnineering . Added weightage for Udyogseba Certification .
- Significant experience in an automotive service or repair role, with experience in a supervisory or managerial role preferred.
- Good technical knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engine, transmission, suspension, and brake systems.
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
- Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on customer needs, technician capabilities, and business objectives.
